Come in and take a look out our new Runways!
We here at Cozy Kitten Cattery have
done our best to make sure our cats home is a cozy as
possible for them. People that come and get their kittens
in the summer time, often ask...
"Why do you shave the breeders in the summer?"
We give them all "Lion Cuts" because we feel like, they have
been shut up in the cattery all winter long so we
like for them to be able to go outside in their runways
and watch the birds and kids play and just plain relax!
And we feel like if they have lion cuts they will be more
comfy out there in their runways! :)
Of course on the hot days we do keep them inside with the
air conditioner on.
We have four cages inside the cattery, each with it's own
personal runway...not too big but enough room to layout
and birdwatch and catch some rays!:)
These smaller runways, are almost finished and we'll
post pictures of them as soon as they are 100% done.
We do have one BIG runway for all the cats that mingle
together to be able to go outside when ever they'd like!
Here is a picture of their door inside the cattery.
This leads outside into the big runway.
This runway is a two story runway...it's totally cool!
They can come out on the top level and jump down to the bottom
level. GREAT for those games of tag and hide and go seek!

We have set up lights in the runway that are on a timer
so they automatically come on every night at 6:00PM

All runways are shut and locked every night.
